Tzamal Industries, the Tzamal Group’s original company, has established a niche for itself, built up over decades, of reliability as a first-class manufacturer and importer of quality sterile items, along with consumable and disposable products. Along with I.V. catheters, syringes and other similar products, the company is currently the leading supply source for over 90% of Israel’s surgical gloves.
Tzamal Industries’ long term aim is to focus on the exploration of new medical markets showing consistent growth. Wound care is currently the fastest growing area with double-digit annual growth. In particular, wound-healing technologies are becoming more prominent, such as negative pressure wound therapy (NPWT). Other promising treatments include; oxygen therapy, electrical stimulation, low-level laser therapy (LLLT) and therapeutic ultrasound.
Tzamal Industries is the exclusive distributor for IBSA (Switzerland), leading manufacturer of the innovative Laluset & Laluset Plus topical wound dressing. Tzamal Industries also represents Codan (Asik) and Tagum (Israeli brand name), among others. Among Tzamal Industries’ clients are; dermatologists, plastic surgeons, burn-unit specialists and general practitioners. All Tzamal Industries marketed products meet the highest local and international standards and the company is always seeking innovative products.

Tamuz Barak, General Manager
Mr. Barak joined the Tzamal Medical Group in 1995, bringing with him over 15 years of experience in the fields of medical equipment and devices. Within the first few years, Mr. Barak successfully built four sales divisions within the company; Orthopedics, Neurosurgery, Spine and Surgery, and later, when serving as Sales & Marketing Director, assumed responsibility for the Cardiology Division. Mr. Barak took the post of General Manager in 2008 as part of the Tzamal Group policy of priming promising managers for leading positions
